historically important/large/good "legacy" teams like oklahoma, ohio state, michigan, and notre dame are always given enormous love by the voters, even when they blow chunks.

So the year where they don't deserve a BCS spot, they have a very good shot at getting one. The irony.
Agree. Ideally we make just enough of a ruckus for being "slighted" to set us up for next year or so and keeping us on the radar. Really I would rather not get destroyed in a BCS bowl this year (except the Big East champ... we could take em at least) and just enjoy the Las Vegas bowl or something.

that said, ND is undefeated, and they didnt have a boise state type of cakewalk season. they actually had some solid opponents. ND deserves to play for the natty.

ND is the clear number one though. It's not like oh it's close but we'll give them the nod, they are number one in the computers and the human polls. They are the only remaining undefeated major school who is eligible for bowl season.
I think either Bama or Georgia will beat them in the title game, but at this moment there is no major bias here.

Eh, I'm a little worried for Boise in a BCS bowl this time around (this isn't the same team with the NFL guys of Kellen Moore, Doug Martin, WR's, etc), maybe Pete can prepare for a big game like he seems to do well at, but I would rather see Kent State or Northern Illinois get a shot.
Well, Florida had a much tougher road than the 2 teams playing in the CCG.
Yea, LSU/FSU/USCe/Georgia/TXATM is pretty tough. I'm proud of the team regardless. They fought tooth and nail for each victory, even though sometimes it was ugly.
