Why does he get the benefit of the doubt? Hes been in situations more than once. It's never simple for him, is it always a coincidence?

He's a dick.

-talked to Deion in college
-wouldn't carry Roy's pads
-spent too much money on jewelry
-was sagging his pants at the mall

that is Dez's horrible record until now...

My mother is my mother. Explain what gets solved by smacking her with a hat and pulling her hair. What did he accomplish? What good did he do?

Or its possible that she's tired of this out of control nut coming in her house smacking her up, pulling hair, and rippin her clothes.

I'm not ruling that out at all...

but no one should rule out whatever his story is either...

everyone here is assuming his mother is some innocent angel in all this, but his mother has issues worse than he does. For all we know she beat him every day as a child.

You forgot the portion where Deion tried to take him under his wing & now even Sanders, who likes to MASQUERADE as some kind of wholesome do-gooder now that his life isn't under the spotlight, now won't even f uck w the punk now.

Deion has said basically that the kid is a lost cause and he needs more than his help.

Defend that. Conflict of (pt) interests?

I don't know enough of their situation but I do know that Deion has "taken in" dozens of athletes that he no longer talks to...

He pretty much adopted Noel Devine as his own child and Noel was living at Deion's home but then he stole Deion's car and ran away...this isn't the first Deion has stopped talking to someone

Does not matter, if he gripped up Mom Dukes and tore her shirt and bra only to proceed to strike her across the FACE, regardless of what he used, it's obvious the dude is a headcase who hasn't learned to adjust his attitude/ anger problems.

Regardless of what his mom did, control yourself or walk away. MOTHER, son, MOTHER.

Extraneous details aren't as important as in most cases/ stories of athletes and domestic violence.

Stop trying to defend, you sound absolutely pathetic. I guess Cowboys loyalty > Family Ideals for you

Better change your tune before you make yourself a GD pariah

Were those 'dozens of athletes' blue chip prospects who played close to Sanders' home only to get drafted to the Dallas Cowboys??

Didn't think so. Deion must suck as a guiding light or gives up too easily. Some mentor/ hopeful inspiration.

maybe that is exactly what he did though...he LEFT before she could call 911

maybe she flipped out on him, he slapped her wrist and LEFT, and then she called the police with an exagerated story...there are no marks on her face

He zones out in games. He gets the tiniest little bump and he's on the sideline, done. He's performed up to his skillset how often? It's not very often.

He's a bad apple, it happens. And if everyone rationalizes the stupidity he gets into away, he'll never change.
