Isn't he still under investigation for the whole porn thing? I would think he'll have a hard time finding a team with that going on. Could be a really bad PR move.....

The details of the case sounds like complete B.S and he hasn't been charged with anything. If there was anything to it he would've been charged by now IMO.
I would definitely take a shot at him for the minimum.

get your facts right, it has nothing to do with porn...

a 17 year old girl told him she was 21 and they went out and had sex....
when he ended it, she tried to extort money from him.... she made
outrageous claims on the internet and the cops got involved... he has
not been charged with anything!!!

Wouldn't it be extremely hard for the Lakers to get an amnestied player? Everybody keeps bringing up guys like this but (and correct me if I'm wrong) don't they go to the highest bidder? I can't see the Lakers being the highest bidder for people, unless nobody else bids and it's just the vets minimum.

I am simply guessing that teams will be scared off and will not put in bids, leaving him as a complete free agent that we can get at the vet minimum.......just speculation on my part, nothing more.

That's the part I didn't realize. After a couple days they become unrestricted FA's and can choose to go where they want. That makes Anderson, Blatche, and Milicic all FA's.

Lakers don't need no pedophile birdman looking mofo on our team, Lakers are recruiting all the right pieces to a championship Nash, D-Ho, Jamison are all class acts. The pothead pedophiler will just bring the team down, don't want him don't need him this is serious biz!

Maybe you should look at the facts of the case before you judge, there was a better case against Kobe and just as poor a case against Jordan Hill who we just re-signed......and his BS case is still pending.
Idiots file charges against athletes all the time, if we didn't sign players because of BS we wouldn't have a team.
There is no legit case against Birdman.

When had Chris Andersen ever brought down the nuggets?

Agree with DK too. Everyone's got their problems and sins to worry about.
