Kyrie, if English isn't your first language..don't worry about it.

If English IS your first language...you've got problems, chief.

it is how he went about it. He didn't try to just get the best deal for him. He went and structured a deal that would make it the most diffucult for NYK to match based on the tax structure. That shows you where his head is at.

I think I'll be able to survive the embarrassment of misusing a word on an internet forum.

This really could have all been avoided if the Knicks just gave him a damn offer to begin with.

That was the best deal any team was going to give him. Give me a deal where it's the best he can have, without making it difficult for NYK to match. Why would the Rockets give him a deal that NYK would match? The whole point of this is to get the player you want. Is it Lin's fault they're in the tax situation that theyre in?

That's why he pulled out of the USA Select team, he had to take that time to find an offer because the Knicks told him to go find one and they will match, which he did and the didn't. All they had to do was offer him a contract and none of this even happens.

There is some stupid rule with regards to him being undrafted or something like that.

The CBA limited us to initial offers of 4/$24, lin wanted more, the end.

Dear Mr. Lin,
I know you went to Harvard. Do you know the term FULL OF SHIT? or the term BACKTRACKING? Perhaps you can look them up and see if they fit in with your explanation of the 85% comment.

Yours Truly,
NIKO

I remember a lot of Knicks fans posting that Lin shouldnt play in the Miami Series. i actually wanted him to play.

Isola said it right

Frank Isola: Until the culture changes, the results won't. Today's Knick fans accept a culture where players urge someone not to play...in a playoff game

If you had offered him 4/$24 in the first place we probably wouldn't be having this discussion. Instead Knicks thought they could get him for cheap and told him to go explore free agency. Karma's a bitch and now you're stuck with Kidd and Felton
