Default Time to trade Amir?

With the signing of gray, and the need to play Ed Davis at least 25 minutes per game.

Well since they are the same player essentially (in terms of what they bring), you keep the younger one. So yeah I wouldnt be devastated if they traded Amir.

Amir is anothe guy we overpaid mostly because we didn't need him. With Val, we need him even less.

If the raptors make no more additional trades, what do you think of the roster?
Looks like lots of healthy competition. I'd like to think Jose would come in and be professional.

Lowry 32. Calderon 16. Uzoh
Derozen 33 Ross 15
Fields 24 kleiza 24 anderson
Bargs 33 Ed 15
Val 26 Ed 9 Amir 15. Gray

Pretty decent depth, just need 2 of their starters to push all star status.

If we fall out of the playoff race we can trade Jose to a contender.

Problem is at a minimum we have 2 players who wouldn't start on any other team. Another is a 20 year old european rookie and yet another is well.....Bargs.

Agreed. When a similar question was asked maybe 2-3 years ago I said hell yeah i'll take Amar'e but not at this point. Yeah he's still better than Bargs but he's gonna be 30 this year, he's on the decline, he's a constant injury risk, and generally he's an unstable player. We don't need him.
