If Tillman/Jennings ain't in your top 5, you don't know football.

you're right Ballin, Bears should be in there

and now after watching a couple Texan's games, they should be in there too...

Kareem Jackson is actually awesome, from what I have seen anyway...

Bailey and Porter are still a great duo IMO but I would bump them out the top-5 at this point...

you need to take the giants out of the top 10. (i know you arent editing them out) they are closer to bottom 10 than top 10 smh. not to mention they lose philips at safety and rolle is the only visible safety out there. he has great games (49ers) but he also has some crappy games, not great in coverage. webster is above average at best, terell thomas is supposed to be their best CB but he hasnt seen a regular season game in 2 years... seems like he will never pan out

but injuries are a part of football.

I did a top-5 with injured teams like the Giants removed...

Falcons lost Grimes too...

and Revis is out of course so Jets not top-10 any more

my new updated top-5

1. Seahawks - Browner/Sherman
2. Texans - Joseph/Jackson
3. Rams - Finnegan/Jenkins
4. Cowboys - Carr/Claiborne
5. Bears - Tillman/Jennings

Eagles and Broncos gone now...Nnamdi just hasn't been that great

Carr/Clairborne top 4. You cant bag Nnamdi then act like Carr has delivered. Total homer.

Quote:
Dallas Cowboys CB Brandon Carr has gone the last two games without a pass defensed or an interception, and he has struggled containing top receivers. Through five games, Carr has been targeted 21 times, allowing 11 completions for 228 yards and a touchdown. Head coach Jason Garrett believes Carr has been playing well. "I think he's an outstanding football player. He covers his guy," Garrett said. "It's well-documented he's played some safety for us. He's done a lot of different things to make our team better."

1 TD, must be the Marshall blown coverage

Carr and Claiborne have been awesome though, and Dallas has the #2 pass defense in the NFL because of them, our safeties are trash

Cromartie is surprisingly the best corner in the league

Antonio Cromartie is allowing just 39% on all targets this season. That's the best % in the league.

Not to sound like a homer, but I think it's about time he started getting recognition as a top 10 CB. He's been unreal this season.

If you're going by who is playing the best so far this year, Chicago has as good an argument as anyone else to be #1.

well I started this thread before the year started...it was "going into 2012"

now I am just making updated top-5 lists in the thread based on both this year and rep combined...didn't expect this thread to keep getting bumped

Bears CBs have been great for sure so far...
