illinois gun laws are pretty strict. i don't know exact rules but to transport a gun in a vehicle (like to a shooting range)the barrel has to be off with a trigger lock on. the ammo itself has to be locked up seperately also.
no trespassing means just that. i don't condone shooting someone over it but when u see those type of signs on someone's house, u can pretty much assume they're there for a reason. dude was nuts.

if you are going to have a no trespassing sign then you should lock your place up. because not everyone can read, understand english, see at all, or is old or perceptive enough to understand the consequences.

So cops should also shoot us for burning stop signs or parking somewhere during the wrong time of day. Catch one between your eyes for walkin your dog in the wrong park

it's like the argument that 'I didn't know the law' .. is that a valid excuse ? .. you shouldn't be trespassing to begin with .. it's private property .. that should be a universal understanding ..
but it's not black and white either .. you should be able to tell when someone is up to no good or just trying to sell something
