Re: 2012 OTC WWE/WWF Wrestling Draft - Official Draft Thread
I don't know where I stand on the simulator vs judge debate. A simulator is more unbiased than a judge but at the same time we don't really know what criteria it basis wins on. It could be as simple as the guy who chooses the biggest wrestlers will win.
A judge system is more biased. Guys who actually are pretty damn good (Cena) wouldn't get the credit they deserve and the poster would suffer, and a guy who like Angle will get more praise than he deserves. It's all subjective but the average WWE fan has the same opinions. A good pick for the simulator can easily be a bad pick for the judges. We need to figure this out.
I say go with the simulator. If it turns out badly just switch to judges.

It depends. Test out the simulator. If the Simulator will always come to only one conclusion, then maybe its not a good idea. Because an argument like "The Rock vs Hogan" can go either way, but if the simulator always sees it one way, then its sort of broken.
Question: When we argue, are we arguing based on just the moves this wrestler has? Because WWE has always been a bit limited ring-wise. Or do we get to argue factors such as fan reaction, mic skill, ability to sell (sell moves), put over other talent, match history, achievements, etc.
