Is there a sun in limbo? I don't recall there being one. Either way, it's a magical land and neither of his guys have magical of psychic abilities to counter etrigan. Couple that with lightray being by far the least durable of the 4 and at some point this ends up being a 2 on one battle between king h and etrigan vs Apollo which Apollo obviously loses

AH there is a big difference between Sinestro Corps members and Ikaris and Lobo. The speed and strength of both are individually greater than Sinestro, and combined it's very lopsided.

I don't see how Sinestro gets out of this one.

Sinestro offers both of them a mini powered ring.

Lightray can create his own heat (doesnt require immediate amount like Apollo) and can amp power to infinite levels as he did with Superman. His motherbox can give him insight on etrigan and the power needed to combat him.. He has fought and won against magical users.

He can amp Apollo to levels were hes beyond his peak self.. (he has taken punches that sent him across a planet) He wouldn't just be the ordinary brick but I heightens one.

Also, both Apollo and Lightray have incredible speed.. Lightray traveling at a velocity surpassing light speed.


Apollo flies half way around the world in 30 seconds.

Lightrays amping will be more than cancelled by the fact that there isn't a sun. And it's not like lightray can amp him and fight at the same time.

Sinestro is such a beast.

I remember last draft I argued that Sinestro could grant my entire team rings in a team battle...and the idea was scoffed at and dismissed. He didn't have this feat then but now Sinestro is giving the judges a big F U for doubting.

Btw in no way shape or form is ikaris faster than sinestro. Not offering an opinion on who's winning but just saying that one argument was wrong

Sinestro is crafty enough to start out in stealth mode.. GL rings can reproduce Kryptonite so why not be able to reproduce whatever weakness these two have. Also, GL rings have been able to take on Kryptonians so again why not be able to take out two lesser SM clones??
