Digging it, first one was one of my favourite movies of the year so far. I heard the plan was to take it further away from being an Alien-esque movie, which I was glad to hear.

Star Trek 2 has been done filming for quite a while. If you have a fantasy Hollywood team draft Zachery quinto, he's about to blow up.
Didn't they say that about him and Chris Pine after the first one?

He isn't the biggest star, but he is being put into known films, which I had never even heard of him before Star Trek, so it was a huge career bump. He will actually even be playing Jack Ryan soon, who had previously been played by the likes of Harrison Ford, Alec Baldwin, and Ben Affleck; 3 huge name actors.

Prometheus was cool, mainly because it was the first real sci-fi movie in a long time, the plot was meh, the characters all sucked, and the action was nothing special. However the concepts and visuals were amazing.

Honestly I think instead of doing another movie Ridley Scott should make documentary shows on Science Channel like Beyond Tomorrow.

I like the plot and story...it leaves you with questions and we want those questions answered

SOME of the characters sucked, not all of them though...

some of you are acting as though this was transformers, nothing but CG...but IMO it had much more to offer than that...
