You can't both be throwing the match that blatantly in front of a big crowd, in the fukkin olympics, where emphasis is on the ethics of pure competition. Do you know how shameful that looks? If you want to throw the match do it in a subtle way, not blatantly serving it in the net while the other team does the same. Did they honestly think this travesty would fly with the olympic committee, the crowd, and the viewers at home?
You literally have to suffer from some level of autism to think that this plan would work and no one would make a fuss about it.

I can't believe you never heard of playing for seeding. People forfeit games on purpose to get a good seed.

Am i an avid follower of the chinese badminton league or whatever? No, not really. But i follow sport leagues in general as well as most international sporting events, and i believe in the spirit of competition. If that's what they do over there then it doesnt change the fact that it's still a disgrace. And to have it displayed at the Olympics in such fashion is pure fkin bs, i don't care who you wanna face in the next round, you don't embarrass yourself like that.
Adapt to the rules of the olympics or boycott it and don't show up, but don't waste everyone's time like that.

I hope you realize how stupid you come across. The Spurs rested their veterans for a part of the season, limiting minutes or even dishing out DNP. They still had an amazing record, they were able to develop their younger guys and give their bench some confidence. Neither team tried to lose on purpose. Do you seriously not understand the difference? The match didn't look like two players throwing the ball out of bounds until time ran out. Can you seriously not distinguish the difference between the two situations?
