T-Mac or Malcome Thomas could be a backup to Buttler, if Deng is out because of surgery. It appears to sign either as a backup SF, they need to reduce the rookie player salary for Teague to less than the 120% offered to most drafted rookies, so they have enough funds to sign 1 more player.
I don't see this as a problem since Teague was under-whelming in Summer league. Looks like he could use a couple of years in the D-League or Europe to see if he can develop into a better player. He has potential, but right now he doesn't look to be as good as either Watson or Lucas. I don't like the idea of having Teague as the backup point guard if either Hinrich or Robinson get injured.
