Lakers trade Pau & Bynum to receive Dwight & Al Harrington.

Yes, its technically Pau for Harrington considering that for almost the past few weeks we've been under the impression it would only cost LA Bynum to get Dwight.

He's referring to the fact that there was a trade in place that had LA only giving up bynum and one of hou or cle giving orl the pieces to give up dwight.

in this trade, the lakers are giving up pau and bynum to receive howard and harrington. so in essence its understandable what hes saying about pau for harrington. though, thats not actually whats happening in this trade.

If Bynum's the #1 option I can easily see him making the jump from a top 20 player, to top 10

I have no idea why the hell Orlando would want Pau and Afflalo anyways. From Denver's perspective I guess it makes send to get Iggy, although I think an Iggy/Afflalo perimeter duo would be hell. I'd feel better about this trade if Dwight/Chandler/Richardson were coming back to the Lakers, but I still don't like the idea of trading Pau+Bynum for an unhealthy Howard.

bynum will eat up the centers in the east. I dont see anyone giving him a problem, other than chandler(defensively)and maybe monroe.

And I think being the center of the offense will force him to develop his passing game, especilly under a good coach like Collins

I suspect that the Lakers would be getting a little more than Harrington and Howard. Hopefully, it is something more than an ugly contract.
