typical Nets retard. Gasol and Bynum were least of problems. ALl those games were close, if their starting point guard had just been bad instead of TURRRIBLe. they would have gained like 5 points per game and that would have won the series for them.

Another terrible hypothetical situation from a retard. The "close" games are supposed to be closed by you're star players. ( kobe, bynum, gasol) they obviously failed to do that. So don't go ****ing blaming Sessions for you're misfortunes. Geez no wonder I cut back on this forum. People are so ****ing blinded by idiocy.

Hell no, dropping Odom and picking up Nash was definitely a change! Plus the Lakers were right there in every game last season in the west semifinals and they arguably just need to recharge after three straight finals appearances. Look at how many breaks Kareem/Magic needed in the 80s between their championships. The 80s Laker teams did exactly what the Lakers are doing now.. keep the Magic/Kareem core intact while constantly adding/switching/upgrading pieces around them such as Michael Cooper, Worthy (who later became part of the core), Bryon Scott, Bob Mcadoo, etc etc.
Losing to the eventual champions in 2011 and the eventual western conference champions in 2012 isn't something to panic about.
I would much rather go into the season with this current lineup as is than drop two of our three core players who has already proven that they can lead this team to a championship. With Dwight you essentially have a wild-card that may or may not show up in the playoffs but with Bynum and Gasol you already know what they can do come crunch time.

I'll believe it when I see it. Sixers getting Bynum would be one of the best trades in recent memory. And this once again proves contracts arent so untradeable as some fans assume. I remember people saying no one would take on Iggy remaining contract. I dont expect to hear from them if this rumor becomes true.
A more interesting discussion is how many Dwight trade rumors have there been? Please dont include Bleacher report crap (primetime "but those are legit, i dont understand?").

lakers lose Pau and Bynum. They lose all of their size. This would be bad for them. You lose your size and get Dwight who has a bad back. This whole trade sounds terrible.

I'm not holding my breath on this rumor.
Bynum would beast in the East with Philly.
I like that it is always good for the league for the Sixers to be relevant.
