Default Wolves got center Greg Stiemsma

While the Minnesota Timberwolves have emerged as the front-runner for Greg Stiemsma, his agent tells CSNNE.com that the restricted free agent has yet to receive an offer sheet.

The Timberwolves are focused on acquiring Portlandís Nicolas Batum who signed a $46 million offer sheet with Minnesota.

Greg is HUUUUUGE for the Twolves. I was even thinking they should pick him up before they even did. He will be a huge inside addition, and add toughness and strong Inside Defense, whichll assist love and pek off the bench. I see him getting significant role player minutes though. David Khan said in his welcoming press conference that the "Stiemer" was 2nd in blocks in the whole league per 48 min. That is pretty impressive considering his role on the celtics.

He won't see a ton of playing time with the way Pek played last year. I love the defense and toughness he will provide off the bench, but all I expect is 15 MPG of him racking up fouls and blocking some shots. Band aid on a bullet wound compared to what the Wolves need defensively.
