I was just reading some speculation on the next Xbox and Playstation (both likely coming winter of 2014) and the advances predicted are incredible. I just read something where a gaming studio is finally expecting that full blown virtual reality experience we all dreamed about as kids. We saw the major advancements Kinect has made and in general how far PS3+360 pushed the bar.... now imagine how far it will be pushed again?
Which system will you be getting first? Are you guys pumped about the possibilities for next gen gaming?
Absolutely. I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience of gaming with the 360 since I've had it. Definitely worth the money I've been spending.
Even now though, you can see the small advances that are being made every year. Look at the 3DS for example. Might be considered baby steps, but stuff is improving year on year. For a gamer like myself, it's exciting to know that there are probably some major new technologies just around the corner.

Wow that does sound great, I expect the graphics to be AMAZING, personally I prefer PS3 over X-Box and will get the PS4.
The Wii-U is basically gonna be the same as the Wii, less powerful than Xbox and PS4.
I'll eventually end up getting both, with a year or two gap in between, but with the types of great experiences I've had with the PS3, I'll most likely opt for the PS4 first.
That said, I'm no fanboy, if it turns out that the Xbox is a superior machine with less issues, then that's what I'll be getting.
2014? I thought 2013. Knowing Microsoft, they might just do that. I love my XBOX, it's done everything I expected it to be. For $200 it has done everything possible for me to enjoy. It all comes down to the specifications but I will definitely purchase it the day it comes out. Maybe do a little studying before purchasing depending on how it goes. PS4 is something I'll consider double consoling for.
All I want is amazing graphics matching that of the latest best PC graphics.
