from what i'm hearing it was for 24M Pounds, Plus, in theory, they offered him parity with Rooney, so about 220k/wk. that's a big ass investment in a dude who has been injury prone.

that said, if he stays healthy, him and Rooney. that's going to be impressive

I think he's getting 24million euros for 4 seaons.

I don't think it's a good fit to be honest, don't think he'll fit in with that system

Lmao, isn't that the sport where they dress up like plush toys because they are afraid of actual contact?

Manchester United is going all out after losing the title to Manchester City this year.

Btw, I'm into both soccer and NFL, and NFL is no way a sissy sport... You have no idea how strong NFL players are. Getting sack by a linebacker without wearing equipment might be the end your life.

I cannot remember the last time man utd signed a player who was an already established world beater. This is a magnificent signing but it still doesn't close the gap between them and City, who, can count on Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko & Balotelli upfront whereas they only have Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck & Van Persie, with only RVP good enough to get into the City starting eleven. And don't forget the gulf in quality between their respective goalkeeping, defensive and midfield units.

Still, an amazing signing, but, where were the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Man City? Sure, he's 29 years old, but it's not as if he's reliant on his pace and he seems to have curtailed his injury woes over the last year or so. 23M is just right for a player who will be servicable at the top level for another 3-4 years.
