I don't get what this is a comparison of. Those two as potential NBA draft prospects? Why the measurements?

How about 3rd best center vs 3rd best center. Chandler was absolutely not as good as Marc Gasol and is starting to get stupid attention.

Thurmond all day err day... Dwight Howard would take a backseat as best defensive center in the league if Thurmond played...Even though Dwight is more efficient thurmond had a better O skillset and would have been better if coached differently like Ive seen you mention ...Let alone compared to Tyson. Anyone who knows at least a smidgen about NBA history should know this. Tyson Chandler always makes me think of this horrible ESPN video I saw...the announcers were debating with skip bayless and a few former (recent) players said Wilt was no more athletic than tyson Chandler and wouldnt do anything..If im remembering correctly...

No. Dwight Howard is already elite, all-time. Call it luxury to not have to play other big men straight up, if you want. But the Dwight Howard Defense Curve is as great as any I've seen.
