Older teams seem to always win on whitif because they didn't keep track of stats like turnovers. No 3 point line adds to higher fg%. So besides being a so so gimmick to start it becomes even sillier when you start doing cross era comparisons. I haven't messed with it in years but it was always hit or miss

Try the 72-10 Bulls against the title-winning Rockets.

That wouldn't be fair because the Rockets over-achieved in the playoffs.

Hal Greer and Billy Cunningham are 2 of the HOFers on that '67 Sixers team.

There's no way the '67 Sixers are the best team ever... look how many white guys they have on their team.

Wilt's teammates

Paul Arizen - Hall of Fame, NBA All-Star in '60, '61, '62 with Wilt.
Guy Rodgers - NBA Allstar in '63, '64, '66, '67 with Wilt.
Tom Mescherry - NBA All-Star in '63 with Wilt.
Nate Thurmond - Hall of Fame, NBA All-Star in '65 with Wilt.
Hal Greer - Hall of Fame, NBA All-Star in '65, '66, '67 with Wilt
Luke Jackson - NBA All-star in '65 with Wilt.
Billy Cunningham - Hall of Fame
Jerry West - Hall of Fame, NBA All-Star in '69-'73 with Wilt. Arguably the best player in the NBA in '69 and '70.
Elgin Baylor - Hall of Fame, NBA All-Star in '69-70 with Wilt.
Gail Goodrich - Hall of Fame, NBA All-Star in '72-73 with Wilt.

He actually played with 7 HOFers.

whatifsports kiss my ass. We have records in sports to measure who's won what and how many. 96 Bulls own the record and none of these other teams do.

Its called winning the most number of games.

72.

Those old teams don't count because there weren't as many black people playing basketball back then compared to today. So there were white guys playing by default.

But look at the Bulls with Jordan. Yeah, there are 6 white guys, but how many of them started? I rest my case.
