They are both excellent but if I had to pick I guess I'd go with McCartney. Gotta treasure that live Olympic performance - won't see him perform again since he's so old. And IMAGINE is such a perfect Olympic song.

Great to hear the oldies instead of the recycled drivel that's produced today. Seriously can any of these artists sing today or is it all covered up by the electronic music?

You brought up Axl Rose. My point was that I wasn't adding Rose in my "garbage music" post. Understand now, f.aggot? Or do I need to write it in crayon for u? Put back on ignore before I hurt your feelings again

Lennon. Not even close. Too many of McCartney's song are too goofy and jokey for my liking.

I like GnR and all but you can't compare them to the Beatles .
Also, this is an NBA subforum, not music subforum

Also, to OP I think Lennon is probably the better of the two. Not a big beatles guy tbh though

And if we're going with GnR stuff, I like their cover of the Dead Boys 'Ain't it fun'.

Oh, and Nighttrain is so Goddamn awesome

It's pretty obvious that McCartney was the better pure musician but Lennon had more of an experimental quality.
