Couldn't Dez just have a bunch of strippers come over after midnight?

problem solved.

As far as the alcohol goes... He's an athlete... probably doesn't drink that much anyway.

(but not being able to go out after midnight?.... f*ck... that's extreme.)

What's the point of being in Dallas if you can't enjoy the strip clubs and drink alcohol?

Might as well send him to Green Bay.

Do you really need to go to a strip club if you're a multimillionaire?

Yeah because strip clubs are only reserved for broke people.

I just think it's hilarious he's being treated like he's 14 by his employer.

Can't speak for Dez, but I'm around athletes at my job every night in a party setting. They drink as much as everyone else.

If he wasn't getting in legal trouble and it showing up in his on field performance i'd ask why he'd agree to this but it is. He's not exactly living up to his potential on the field. He's an epic dumbass. If you are a dumbass in life about to piss away your career, having structure imposed on you isn't the worst thing in the world.

You are all thinking of things from your own perspective. But i'm assuming you aren't total morons about to piss away a NFL career.

Does anybody really need strip clubs? lol

Good for him to agree to it. The guy needs to grow up and focus on his career and it good to see that he is willing to put himself in a position to succeed. If he was smart, he would spend his summers working out with Fitz and would attend that camp he holds every summer. Apparently him and Fitz have the same agent and talk pretty often so he should def try to use him as a mentor.

Not sure why Jerry Jones denied there are rules in place for Dez. Dez has said on camera it's all true and it doesn't reflect poorly on anyone except Dez.

Jerry Jones says Cowboys have not created special rules for Bryant

Quote:
Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones declined during a Tuesday radio appearance to offer specifics about reports of off-the-field rules related to receiver Dez Bryant. At one point, he answered “no” when asked if the team had created the rules, which have been widely reported by media members.

“I’m not so sure where the media has come up with detail of this nature,” Jones said Tuesday on KRLD-FM, 105.3 The Fan. “Fundamentally, Dez does _ and I’m convinced _ want to do many things that give him the opportunity to get on track the way he needs to, both on and off the field.

“I think any of this talk or any of these references to what he’s going to be doing or what he is not going to be doing, in general, it’s one that would say just let’s conform to good behavior, the kind of behavior that the commissioner expects, that society expects and that anybody expects if you’re going to get the opportunities you are. He does believe he has a great opportunity.

“We’re fully supportive of him, his family, his mother. We want to do anything in that direction that we can. As far as specifics of rules, I think just rules that let him concentrate on what he’s doing on the field and let him do his work and not have the distractions of not doing it right off the field.”

all media nonsense

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...sed-new-rules/

Tim McMahon of ESPNDallas.com just tweeted a quote from David Wells, Bryant’s oft-quoted mentor, from the Ben & Skin Show on 103.3 ESPN Radio.

“Jerry Jones is in great support of this system and said, ‘Let’s get it done.’”

Now, I’m no legal scholar. But that sounds kind of like there might be special rules, and that Jones knows about them, perhaps even commissioned their creation, or at least didn’t mind.

Head coach Jason Garrett has also talked about them at length, making odd the idea that they don’t exist.

“Like we’ve talked before, we want to support Dez Bryant and we want to support Dez Bryant’s family and do anything that we can as an organization using our players assistance, players development program to help him, just like we would with any player,” Garrett said Monday, via ESPNDallas.com. “The balance with all is you want to support them and you want to help them but you also want to hold them accountable. We feel like we do that throughout our organization, with all our guys. We believe in player development and we believe in helping them as football players on the field and as people off the field.

“What we’ve tried to do is come up with a plan for Dez, like we would for any player who we feel like needs our support and help him be his best as a player and as a person. And the accountability factor is an important part of that with him and with anybody on our football team.”

I honestly hope there are no rules, Dez is on the fast track to ****ing up his career and never fulfilling his potential. I know a few Cowboy fans, and they all want to swear up and down these rules are not real. As a Giant fan, i really really hope so, because Dez isn't 10% of what he should be, and if he continues to be a shmuck, never will be.

regardless of weather or not it is true, it is an overblown story either way...which is nothing new to the Cowboys

all of this shit is an after thought after he scores his first TD

You're not saying it's overblown, you are stating it's false, which is wrong. Dez has special rules because he's a jerkoff. And again, i don't get as a cowboy fan why you wouldn't be happy about this. We've seen 1,000 times the talented guy with the two cent head not reach their potential. I get the feeling you'd rather have that then need to admit one of your cowboys is flawed.

If he removes these distractions from his life then he'll be much more focused and much better.

If he was a Giant, i'd volunteer to follow him around.
