That's what the Raiders get for firing Hue Jackson. He was great for them last season. That was probably the most puzzling head coach firings in sports history.

Raiders easily worst team in the league my god. Who is that baby in the crib holding the red flag on the sidelines for the raiders?

Why did the Raiders give up so much for Palmer anyway? He was never that great to start with, and now he is past his prime. Just stupid.

One of the worst trades in the history of the NFL...they gave up two 1st rounders for that.

It should have been vetoed by the comish lol

Yeh, I thought that was a mistake too. The entire team was buying into his system. Our new GM should have left him alone instead of trying to remake everything in one go to put his stamp on the team. Under Hue the offense had a purpose and identity. I don't know what the hell this is right now. Guess I can brag that so far Palmer hasn't thrown an interception.

So do you guys think that McFadden might look for the first train out of Oakland. I mean I'm all for loyalty but I'm not even sure the most diehard Raiders fans would blame him if he asked to go somewhere. I'm not sure how much leverage he'd have if he did, he's got two years remaining.

We won't let him leave and I am not sure, given his injury history, we would get anything of significance even if we did want to trade him, so he is stuck with us.

He hasn't exactly been a part of the solution. Great player when he is on the field, but completely unreliable with his injury history. He needs to show that he can stay healthy for at least 14 games before he can start to be looked at as a guy that is beyond reproach in Oakland. A lot of people may blame his fragility as a big part of the reason for their inconsistency over the past couple years.

And, I love him as a player. I think he might be the best all-around back in the game when he's healthy... But let's not get crazy. He gets hurt... A lot.

I understand that and that's actually a major reason I could see someone getting in his ear. If he's going to be run into the ground like this it may sour him a bit to the idea of sticking around.

I realize that he won't be easy to move, I'm just thinking, I wouldn't at all be surprised if he really starts to drift on the organization.
