wow the last 10 minutes dortmund totally got lost under pressure, it makes me wonder if the final is going to be as good as expected.
when crappy madrid can score 2 on you like that, think how much can bayern or barca score...

heroic effort by Madrid the last 15 minutes, but to no avail. They should have scored in the first 20 minutes.
Can't use that game against Dortmund though. Away game, 80 000 hostile fans, the most prestigious and arguably talented side against them. Every team could have conceded 2 goals in that span.
Dortmund should have scored at least a goal, too. They were the better team for at least half the game and controlled Madrid after their initial attack. Brilliant performance by Weidenfeller, Subotic and especially Hummels.

Messi on the bench.

FC Barcelona's line-up: Valdés; Alves, Piqué, Bartra, Adriano; Song, Xavi, Iniesta; Villa, Cesc and Pedro.

even without Messi Barca is talented enough to score 2 goals in the first half. If they do that, they can succeed IMO. Van Buyten playing instead of Dante is a huge blow to Bayern.

Van Buyten is playing? Yikes.

Bayern has this in the bag though, make no mistake.

In (not so) related news, Ayrton Senna died today 19 years ago. Pivotal TV/Sports-event of my youth.

Interesting stats on Dutch tv:

Ribery and Robben average a combined 7 defensive plays per CL game, last game against Barcelona they combined for 25.
