He's also perfect for in Juventus. They have alot of high work rate players in the midfield allowing him to sit back and act like a deep playmaker/maestro.

We shouldn't judge him against Bayern though. They are an amazing team and have the deepest squad in the world by far. Their backup squad can form a team that can make the final 8 in the CL.. Can't say that about the other teams in the world.

I dunno, a Bayern backup squad would probably have the worst starting defense in the entire tournament

well since you think that cesc can replace messi, then backup squad of barca can probably make the final 8 too

Here'a short but a damn funny video by Jurgen Klopp.

Hmmm, now that I read the last pages, that video actually sums up my take on the "Schweinsteiger is the best midfielder in the world" comment.

UEFA will probably fix this draw and have a All-Spain and All-Germany semi final, so they are 100% that the final will be between 2 different countries.

well with all the injuries to our defense we basically play with out backup defense all the time, which btw, would be

Pinto - Montoya - Mascherano - Abidal/Bartra - Adriano

whats bayern's like?

our midfield would still be very strong btw:

Song - Thiago - Cesc

attack:

Alexis - Tello - Deulofeu

Rafinha - Boateng - Van Buyten - Contento

1st string obviously:

Lahm - Badsturber - Dante - Alaba

Hoping for Real and Bayern to go through. Last thing I wanna see is another "clasico".
The way Bayern and Barca have played thus far Bayern should be the favorite to win. Could go either way though.

Bayern Munich - Borussia Dortmund would be a cracking final. Dortmund have the best fans in Europe and Bayern are a massive club.

Barcelona - Real Madrid would be a cracking final. El clasico final champions league dont make it much bigger stage for messi or ronaldo.

Barcelona - Dortmund. Not interesting

Real Mardid - Bayern Munich. Not really interesting.
