Caught Guns N Roses in Vegas last night. Amazing. 2nd best show I have ever seen. It is crazy that Axel has been around for many decades, yet he is still up for 3.5 hour long concerts that start at midnight. November Rain was amazing live in Vegas because Axel was playing the piano suspended over the crowd while Circ Du Sole (sp?) gymnasts did some weird stuff in some cloth banners, while dancers (pretty much strippers) were doing their thing, and confetti and fireworks were being released.
it is very clear that the allman brothers are the best, most creative live show in rock music. There are other groups that put on great live shows, but very few of them come close to the incredibly cathartic music experience that is a current ABB show.
I saw Springsteen and E-Street. Couple weeks ago and he is still flat out incredible even at 60 years old. He is the best live act Ive ever seen.
They are going to be rocking out at a venue 2 miles from me on December 4th, but I'm going to have to pass. I hear they do a great show, but I'm just not into them enough to justify paying $100+ to see them. Although, I will be catching Aerosmith on the 3rd anyway at Staples, so I should be good.
