How the hell would he knock off Hakeem when Hakeem has 2 RINGS, and all of them are more impressive.
lmao at no discussion, because you're right, Lebron won't have a discussion for being over Hakeem.

That and the center position was pretty much loaded with the likes of Kareem, Cowens, Walton, and Moses.

McAdoo also had a short prime, but a peak very much comparable to peak Kareem.

lmao at no discussion, because you're right, Lebron won't have a discussion for being over Hakeem.

I am not really sure if you are serious? If Lebron gets another ring or has another similar year this is how his career will look like compared to Hakeem at the end of the upcoming season:

.................LEBRON............HAKEEM.......
MVP..............3-4.....................1............
FMVP..............2......................2........ ....
CHAMP............2......................2......... ..
ROTY.............Yes...................No......... .
DPOY..............0......................2........ ...
1st All-NBA......7......................6...........
1st All-Def.......5......................5...........
All-Star...........9.....................12...........
All-Star MVP....2.......................0...........
PPG...............28....................22........ ..
RPG................7.....................11....... ...
APG................7......................2....... ...
SPG................2......................2....... ...
BPG................1......................3....... ...
PER Rating.....27.2.................23.6........

Not to mention Lebron was the best player in the NBA for much longer than Hakeem, who was the best player in the NBA 2 times and won those 2 championships mostly because the actual best player in the NBA was on vacation.... Lebron didnt need that handicap, he chewed of everybodies superman capes to become the best and become this successful...

What criteria could you POSSIBLY go after to devaluate such a more accomplished career?

I know Lebrons success in every facit of the game and so quickly in such a short time comes like a shocker to many of you, but you need to deal with it...

there would be a lot of discussing about that lol. another ring puts him in the conversation of Oscar/West/Moses Malone who respectively are 11,12,13 (in real life not ish). So another ring would at best get him the 11th slot and at worst the 13th. Currently he is somewhere around 14-16 and has a similar career to Julius Erving (yes i'm including ABA because there was two professional leagues back then).

I agree though that if he gets another MVP and ring, that he would automatically bump Hakeem. Ultimately I believe Bron will end up in the 6-8 slot, but if he just starts racking up rings galore or a bunch of mvp's then he will get that top 5 slot.

its hard to pick out of wade and stockton because Wade has that super duper star quality but stockton has stamped his mark on the league more firmly then wade.

Ima go with Stockton!!!!!

think about it like this, if wade retired today due to knees or something, this guy would not be remembered as much 30 years from now. On the other hand stockton would still be the all-time leader in assists and steals and that will be remembered. Wade should definitely get that 30th spot though.
