Miller or AI?

There is really no reason to choose Miller. No reason at all. There are numerous players I would draft over him to be honest.

I never said who I'd draft, just laughing at the comparison with Joe Johnson and Miller.

Joe Johnson is a nice player, but let's not compare him to Reggie Miller. He's like Eddie Jones lite.

Of the All-Star guards/swings this past decade, Joe might be the last player I take.

Kobe
Mac
Carter
Allen
Wade
Francis
Marbury
Iverson
B.Diddy
Finley
Houston
Arenas
Nash
Brandon Roy
Michael Redd

That's good company, no shame in being last. They all have something in common with Joe Johnson, better peaks than Miller.

The question was who would you rather have on your team, not who had a better career, a better prime, better individual player, better peak, etc. I think it's reasonable to take Miller in this case.

It's not like the question is asking, who is better at creating off the dribble? If that was the case, anyone who takes Miller would be insane, but that was not the question.

I assume your referring to off the court baggage and attitude.

Well, Iverson played harder than any other star I've ever seen during the actual games.

So, I'd be willing to deal with his arrogance and ball hogging ways because I know he will give me his 110% every game of the year.

I would also know that little minor injuries would not keep him from playing as he was also one of the toughest stars of our generation.

...and of course, if we are going to talk about all of this other stuff besides actual talent and skills, I would take Iverson because he is going to fill the arena every game like nobody else besides Jordan, Kobe, Shaq, and Lebron.

I think Reggie is overrated due to his personality. I think that Pacers team was a GOOD TEAM. I don't think Iverson ever got a chance to be on a team like that.

If AI was in that era when the NBA was its most popular (with Jordan and such), battling against the Bulls and the Knicks, he would be more respected. I don't think a lot of players even watched AI play other than getting owned in the Finals. I was noticing, even though I was a huge Shaq fan, that they gave Iverson some bullshit foul trouble in those Finals. It's scary to think the NBA felt they had to keep AI out of the game in order to not beat that super-stacked 15-1 Lakers team.

The question is who would you draft.

It's the most ridiculous question I have ever heard. Anyone with common sense is going to take Iverson. I think that his team issues are way overblown, he will obviously be starting for over a decade, I don't why people are using what happened in Detroit and Memphis to make their decision. That's just dumb as f*ck, you have to use context.
