why does NBC get the best matchup every week? I would rather see MNF get it.

Raiders are going to get drilled by the Steelers. I'm basically looking at the draft and now wondering whether we will stick with the #1 pick or trade it away for multiple draft picks.

Well for one ESPN is a cable network, NBC isn't. More people have access to NBC. Not really sure if that's the reason, but that could be a factor.

You're exactly right, hence why I picked the way I did.

I can certainly see Cam ballin the f uck out on National TV but will it be enough? Can Eli be stopped/contained and how much pressure will be applied?

The Jets will make life hard for Tannehill and they will probably look to play a little conservative and getting a win from the rookie QB.

The Bears are a lot better than the trash they put on the field Thursday. Still can;t decide whether to start RGIII or Cutler. I moved Cutler to the bench after gettin me 5 pts.

Calvin Johnson has been kept somewhat quiet so I expect him to go off with Stafford spreading the ball.

Drew Brees is one of the best QBs of my time and I cannot see a team led by him going 0-3, inexperienced head coach or not.

MY one real toss up is BAl hosting NE. Neither team is used to having a losing record so it will be a battle. I'm not as confident about BAL defense against elite guys like Brady and Gronk. Sucks bout Hernandez but I hope NE game plans smartly for Flacco and Rice. Their front 7 is much improved. LEt's see how Joe does

i love thursday night football, especially when my giants are involved in it. this way i can have a stress-free sunday and just enjoy football or go out and do something. how many more thursday night games do we have? i'd love to have 1 every week... although with only 4 days off for 2 teams it would be hard to maintain.

When MNF was on ABC they got the premier matchups, but when MNF moved to ESPN (cable) and SNF moved the NBC (national) then SNF got the premier matchups.

My Bengals are going into Washington this Sunday to play RG3 and the Skins. Hopefully the defense improves, and Dalton continues his stellar play. I have them taking out WAS.

Sunday Night Football gets better match-up because Sunday games can be flex into Sunday Nights.

The MNF games were absolutely terrible last year. This year looks better. Really glad NFL Network is televising basically all of the Thursday games this year.

This is all like haha funny but people who tend to act like Gronk does in their career tend to have massive flameouts at a point. He's a big white TE so it's WHAT A CHARACTER as opposed to a black receiver where he'd be a big diva.

MNF also has matchups it shows year after year (like it always has SF on late year) so it's been locked into bad matchups. Some of those seem to be better this year.

Something interesting in the local papers, talk shows today - someone on the Jets (had to be) clearly leaked to reporters some of the plays, to show that incompletions were all Sanchez's fault for not running the play correctly, making the right pass. They do love to throw Mark under the bus over there.

Here it goes. An article explaining what the play should be, how Sanchez ****ed it up, and how it cost the Jets the game. The Jets have a coach leaking things to the media and undermining Sanchez.

This is something that Rex Ryan should find that person and fire them. Because even if you think Sanchez sucks there is no benefit to undermining him.
