Maybe the sports god are giving us Chicago fans some deserved karma. First Rose tests the ACL and through Heat and their refs won through championship. But now I've seen the Packers get screwed......maybe it is finally looking up.

Let's be real, barely anyone will stop.

This is like boycotting filling up the tank for a single day. All talk and no one follows through. Selfless be damn.

Get the **** out of here, you don't understand the situation at all, the situation is the NFL has amateurs reffing games, not that games are being fixed.
Read my other post I said it wasn't rigged and to answer your other questions. Easy just make a ticky tack call it's not that hard and it's happened before. You act like it could never be possible or their hasn't been controversial calls with Goodell as Commissioner

If the players are that upset they can always actually do something and refuse to play. That's the only thing that'd make a deal happen. That or empty stadiums.

Until the NFL starts losing money they won't care.

Just remember these last few weeks the next time some non-NBA fan bashes the league while worshipping a league that's so money hungry they don't give a shit about the quality of their product.

Ref's should have just called for a jump ball and then used the possession arrow, college basketball style.

last line is so true. NFL is an extremely highly profitable league and the ref lockout it nowhere close to what the NBA's was. this is literally a situation of rich owners, sacrificing the integrity of the game, to save a couple pennies on a dollar.

Anyone here remember the movie Rat Race where Cuba Gooding Jr. played a football referee and got harassed by fans throughout the movie for screwing up a coin toss? That's what I thought of after he signaled a TD after the play and then came back out after review and confirmed the ruling on the field.

I feel bad for him, to be honest. Now me, I wouldn't recognize him walking down the street. But you know there's fans out there that will see him doing his day-to-day business and harass the hell out of him. He may have to go into hiding for a while.

It may be hyperbolic but it wouldn't shock me to see some of these replacement refs just afraid to come out next week.

The tweet of the night goes to Sam Fuld of the Tampa Bay Rays

The NFL may be able to afford to pay their referees after getting millions of $ in fines from complaining players tonight.

parts of GB are rioting: http://www.radioreference.com/apps/a...=cwp&ctid=3056

btw, for those saying the play was 'confirmed', that is true but they are not allow to overturn possession ruling. i don't know how that works when one says it isn't a TD and the other does, but #26 ref called it a TD. by rule, they can't overturn that TD call. dumb rule but there you go. the video refs simply couldn't overturn that TD call.

Has the feel of the OU/Oregon game from a few years back. Same sense of outrage and disbelief at the ending.
