Rodgers leads the NFL in passer rating, on pace for close to 40 total touchdowns, has a legit shot at getting his team to a first round bye.
Brady is going to be close to 5000 yards passing, 100 qb rating, 40 total touchdowns, probably 12 wins (Jac and Miami remaining) possibly a first round bye.
Peyton went to a new team, coming off a whole year of not playing football, throwing for 4500+ yards, 35+ touchdowns, 104 passer rating and probably a first round bye.....
Peteron is rushing the ball great, probably will break 2000 yards.....but his touchdown number isn't staggering, he's not much of a receiving threat and his team is just barely in the playoffs right now and chances are they miss them at the end of the year (Texans and GB left to play)
Come Back Player of the year is also interesting between Peyton and AD
I've had this discussion with my brothers. Peterson missed no time exactly. He got hurt in the finale and started week 1 so no games were missed. He had a really good year last year so its not like he was a bum a year ago and exploded ala Pennington.
He isn't the prototypical comeback player of the year candidate that we are used to seeing.
There is absolutely no way that a guy from a non playoff teams wins the MVP. I think this Peterson stuff is just ESPN bullshit. It's unlikely they make the playoffs, and no way in hell would he win MVP without doing so.

He missed 4 games last year but the fact that Peyton did miss an entire year does give him the edge I think

It's more likely to happen in football than basketball.
