Where would you have Aldon Smith in the DMVP rankings?
I have no idea. I haven't watched alot of 49ers games. From what I've gathered he's far more of a pass rush specialist than the others tho. Miller leads the league in tackles for a loss(sacks not included) and is just as good against the run this year as he has been getting after the QB. Only has like 2.5 less sacks than Smith. JJ Watt has been insane whenever I've seen him, and I don't know all that much about football but from what I understand what he's doing at his position is pretty crazy.
I don't really have a ranking but I'd take Watt, Miller's season over Smith's. Probably somebody on the Bears defense too like Tillman or Jennings maybe. Daryl Washington on the Cardinals is having a pretty crazy year too. So I suppose like top 5? .. Plus that 49ers defense seems crazy. Like I said I haven't seen alot of them but what I be wrong in saying you could argue Smith, Willis, Bowman are all better defenders on his own team?

Von Miller also has a shit ton more QB hurries than Aldon Smith.
Aldon has a decent shot if he breaks the sack record, but barring that, he's not winning it. Even if he does, he may have trouble with the type of seasons guys like Watt and Von Miller are having. Watt is going to have to start putting up some more numbers too, as Von Miller has been absolutely tearing it up over the past few weeks.

and MVP is only between Brady/Peyton/Rodgers and no one else for right now..if the Falcons finish 15-1 and Ryan has had some huge games he could be back in the mix

Even if Aldon breaks the sack record he doesn't deserve it over Watt. It's not even close. The race right now is
