Default What makes Kobe Byrant a bad team-mate?

He avgs like 5 assists per game, right? So that means he at least shares the ball/playmaker...

He's led his team in assist for the past 15 seasons.

Has won 5 championships with multiple sets of different rosters.

Has been the one constant for the last 5 championships the Lakers have won.

Was a part of what most people consider to be the most dominant duo of all time.

You can say all you want about Kobe being a bad teammate, but the facts speak for themselves.

how 4.8 assist and 3.4 turnovers in 38 minutes make him a playmaker?

When you have the ball in your hand as much as he does, there are bound to be wide open teammates that he will pass to here and there throughout the course of the game. To act like his goal would be to share the ball is just ridiculous.

Shitty leader. Constantly throwing his own teammates. No accountability. Constantly making excuses(fake injuries) in an attempt to cement his legacy.

2011 Finals: Lebron realizes that the FMVP is Wade's if they win, knows this will tarnish his legacy as "the man" and would definitely bruise his ego

plays in the finals like a shook rookie

2012 Finals: Realizes Wade will take a backseat and let Lebron have all the glory

suddenly becomes "mentally strong"

Kobe already said a few days ago in that ESPN interview that he is a 1-1 player, and Lebron is a 5 on 5 player. In other words LeBron plays for the team. Kobe for himself.

Also, remember that "I eat first" comments he made a while ago. He does what's best for him first. That is the definition of a bad teammate.

I consider Kobe Bryant the Jerry Jones of NBA players.

Wants to win his way
Lives off a spectacular past with rings, endorsements, personal awards.
Very smart but very stubborn.

Is scoring 30 6 and 5 but also plays some of the worse defense and is not athletic enough to recover when he roams.

Honestly he wants LA to win with him being the sole reason. That mindset is not good when he cant carry the load a whole game like he used to. It's too late if he were to change his approach now.

Telling your teammates they aren't on a high enough level to even speak to you may not be the best chemistry builder.
