Obviously I also agree. Thoughts on the waiver keeper value? 11th doesn't make sense to me.
I don't like it. If you are the first manager to find out a sleeper from waivers, it is fair that you can keep him. So if you drafted him in a late round you can keep him in that round, but not if you got him from waivers? That doesn't make sense to me.
You could say that lowest round for a keeper is 8th from now on, regardless of the player being drafted or undrafted, but even so I don't like it. It takes away some strategy about trying to find sleepers in late rounds.
Remember the 11th round was just an arbitrary decision made. It's not based on anything in particular.
I am not saying don't be rewared for a gem off the FA list, but 11th round just seems too low. I've benefited from it basically every year, so it's not like it won't impact me also. If 8th is too high, maybe 9th. Just someting not as low.
Keepers can be any round and if you draft well, you can keep them as late as possible but I think there is less strategy of being the first GM to click 'add' when an undrafted guy is tearing it up.
I like the 11th. I don't see a point in changing that. If the person picked up was an FA, it means that at the beginning of the season they were thought to have little to no value to begin with. Meaning if they had been drafted at all it would've been one of your last picks anyways. So my vote is for that to stay where it is. As for the 3 keeper suggestion instead, i'm all for it.
