even though eli sucked, he still drove them down once the cowboys took that lead. blowing a 23-0 lead entirely and trailing, easy E DID NOT buckle under pressure and led that drive to TAKE THE LEAD BACK. yes, it was nothing special by eli, but when he got punched in the face and blew the lead, he engineered another 4th quarter drive to re-take the lead.

and i have no doubt in my mind that if the cowboys took a lead with 1-2 mins left in the game (not the dez catch since that was 8 seconds left), he would have drove the giants down the field and shitted down jerry jones throat once again

eli was not special whatsoever yesterday, but what he was, was his usual calm collected self.

giants have had 2 magical super bowl runs, but the other 2 or 3 times they have lost their first playoff game in recent (or coughlin years)... so dunno what you mean by that statement.
