NFC East used to be the toughest division in the league and still might be. The teams beat up on each other leaving the division winner with a barely above average record to get into the playoffs. But it prepares the teams to go farther into the playoffs and sometimes win it all

If you're foolish enough to only look at rushing statistics.

For a dal fan, I should clarify that rushing means you run the ball. Many teams manage to actually advance it past the line of scrimmage.
