Top 3 teams make the playoffs. Top 2 teams (regardless of conference) get a bye. Remaining 4 teams pair off and and battle. Winners move on to fight the bye. Winners face off for the finals.

Yes, pick 8 out of your 10 guys. Numbered 1 thourgh 8 that way I can pair them off with your opponents list that is numbered 1-8. label all preps and trumps. Remember if you trump 2 people together 1 slot has to be a forfeit. If you trump 3 people together then 2 slots must be a forfeit etc..
People that could actually utilize the knowledge of an upcoming battle to their benefit. On your list a certain virus carrying metal armed person jumps to mind.
Geniuses, strategists/tacticians, people who use various weapons but don't necessarily carry them with them all the time etc..
