I was thinking about purchasing the http://www.nba.com/leaguepass/3pp/ because I am pretty much not going to be able to watch any primetime games on Tuesday-Thursday nights because of work. I am having a couple of questions though that I can't seem to find the answers.
1. Do all (non-nationally televised) games get archived to where I can watch them back on the DVR type feature, especially "blackout" games that are broadcast locally? I will want to watch as many Grizzlies games as I can but won't be able to watch all of them in real time and almost all of them are broadcast on FoxSportsSouth. I want to make sure that I will be able to watch them later even if they are played locally here. Basically if I miss a Thursday night game that is played locally here, will I be able to watch it back on Friday or Saturday when I get the time?
2. Can I watch "blackout" games on my ipad if I am out of town and not within the local broadcast range?
I'd hate to spend that much money and still be stuck in the same situation of missing all the games I really paid to see. I'd still love to see all the other non-nationally televised games but I'd be paying the money to follow the Grizzlies. I know that is a lot of questions but I've never bought it before and couldn't seem to find those answers.
Live or archived you won't have access to any games that are available locally.
That sucks, that's the main reason I want it. I had the "acquired" version from the guy on here last year until he took it down and it was perfect for that because I could just use the DVR feature for all the Grizzlies games. Thanks man.
I think you do have access to all archived games, even if they were blacked out live
That's what I was thinking and hoping but TonyD said that wasn't possible.

there are plenty of sites out there that you can stream any game you desire.
I can't because of work situations, that's why the DVR of games I missed was the huge selling point for me unless they are blacked out afterwards too, which doesn't really make sense to me.

That really sucks if they black out local games, even if you have League Pass.

From what I've gathered from the nba website, they do blackout locally broadcast games on the league pass while they are live but I'm hoping they don't blackout DVR playback.
They also blackout nationally televised games like on espn and TNT because those companies own those exclusive rights.
Is it possible for you Americans to get International LeaguePass? Because that is better, for example there is no blackout problem there at all, literally all games are shown and archived...
League Pass blacks out every game for whatever team is defined as your "local" team. Even if they are voted to be on NBATV for their game of the week they are still blacked out on NBATV as well. All nationally televised games are not on League Pass. If you want to watch your local team I would avoid League Pass and just add your local sports channel to your package.
