@ me calling that, although I'm pretty sure anyone could, Sanchez wasn't too bad, but that offense was WAY better with Tebow in the redzone. If they could punch it in the redzone more, it could have been even closer or a win..
What could Tebow do in a situation like that? Texans rushed four and had everyone else back. They aren't the Steelers from last years playoffs.
JJ Watts is ridiculous.
The logic is that it's going to be a hook and ladder type of play as it's nearly impossible for a hailmary. Do a hook and ladder and get as many athletes in there as you can including Tebow. But it really doesn't matter as the Jets were getting ass raped by Watt and the Texan D.

well in a miracle inducing lateral passing play, tebow is the guy you want instead of sanchez. he can take a hit and still lateral it back to a man. Unlike sanchez who just goes down on first hint of contact.
shit, NY wasn't that far from winning that game...
I have come to realize tonight that Matt Schaub just isn't that great...Houston is all about that Defense and that o-line and Foster...the passing game is almost an after thought to that team.
I understand the talent around him is terrible but this dude has been a starter for 4 years, has been given a huge contract, huge amount of public endorsements and for what, 4 subpar years in a huge market? Dafuq.
Change is needed. I know, once the change is made it's hard to go back but I think it's time to see what Tebow has and I think Mark needs to sit his ass down and re-evaluate things. This guy has been pampered since he's been in the league and has never been challenged.

He didn't have to be great tonight. The Jets secondary did a good job after the opening drive covering the wide receivers and tight ends. Schaub was smart to not force things after his int. When the defense is playing that good you just play good fundamental football.

yeah I wasn't trying to say that Schaub is bad...or played poorly
just saying he is FAR from the best player on that team...he isn't anything special...an average QB, but you're right all they need is an average QB

I agree they should put in Tebow and see how he does for a couple of games. Not because I think he will do better than Sanchez, but because I think their season is toast, so they might as well evaluate how good Tebow is for their offense. Sanchez will do better in a different location I think. He'll never be above average, but no quarterback is going to be a world beater with the Jets when the offense is treated as an after thought for the team.
