I still don't get why noone in the NBL (Australian League) has reached out to him. He'd be a massive draw and the culture shock would be far less than playing in Europe, Asia or the Middle East. He'd be far more likely to stick it out.

You'll know better than me, but aren't the salary caps in the NBL pretty low? AI is likely to get a heck of a lot more money in Europe, even if he only stuck around for a short time. Something I'm sure he puts a lot of importance on whether he'll deny it or not, considering the stories we hear of money problems etc.

I probably don't know better than you, I have no idea haha. We're definitely not a league with a lot of money, he would definitely put asses on seats, maybe he could get other endorsements. But I'd agree with the second part for sure, money would play a huge part. I just wish an NBA team would give him one last chance.

*Looks at your avy. Why not Bobcats... Who would start over him?

so he has no problem signing with a team like this whereas he wouldn't come off the bench for an nba team?

Allen Iverson
The Undertaker
Adam Sandler

Celebs/entertainers I always enjoyed watching when I was growing up, that I really wish would just sit back and enjoy the comfort of retirement

I don't think any nba teams will actually sign him. Apparently he's broke as hell and needs the money.

Because Iverson's salary would be more than the whole roster costs of most Australian teams. Even in Maccabi Haifia, they pay some players probably, like Calathes, at almost what a whole roster budget is in some Australian teams.
