All bias aside, Drummond's was more powerful, dirtier, and more worthy of a poster. As in, if we had a send a photo to print, that snap shot of Andre cramming on top of a helpless Ilyasova would be the money shot.
Re: -StroShow's Daily Poster Thread 2012/13 (New Season, New Thread!)-
As you watch the following dunk—which could be described as sick, wicked, nasty, or Chuck Swirsky’s patented combination of all three—note the lack of excitement in the commentator’s voice. I’m assuming he must work for some sort of Grizzlies radio network, but this is the type of play that ought to break through the barrier established by any team affiliation. I mean, I can’t see how any person that likes basketball even a little bit could witness this right-handed sledgehammer and talk about it without getting at least a little bit animated.
In these difficult economic times, I’m most certainly not trying to get anyone fired… but come on, radio announcer dude! How are you going to see a ridiculous type of dunk like this one and just go all monotone on your listeners? There were probably four or five dozen people who tuned in to this preseason NBA game, and you had ‘em all thinking Al Horford threw down a routine jam with that extreme lack of enthusiasm in your voice. Where’s your passion for the game, man? Unacceptable.
