Good for RIM but looks kind of boring. Maybe that's some kind of crazy sideways scroll thing on the bottom.

Is that a rectangular phone with rounded edges? Prepare for litigation, Blackberry. Only one company is allowed to take advantage of the most obvious shape for a phone.

The Blackberry "Triangle"... I can see it now.

Having worked in wireless, Blackberry will just never turn the corner unless they adopt a different OS like, let's think....Android. Do they even have a dual-core phone out currently??

BB10 handsets are going to be better than what they have out currently lol. OP didn't give any information because he doesn't know anything yet. I don't think they have released any info for their new handsets.

RIM is on the comeback trail for real.

Blackberry 10 Demo

I would imagine they are gonna use QNX for OS, since they bought it a while back.

Looks very Iphone like. All the people I know who used to own a Blackberry now have Iphones so I understand the idea, but it's still a foolish strategy.

Although the market for phones with tactile keyboards has seriously diminished ever since people started to realize typing on a screen is superior to those miniature buttons, there is always going to be a niche market for those Blackberry style phones.

Now they just have the phone everybody else also makes, except with a much inferior OS and no third party support.

Blackberry would've been better off sticking with the traditional Blackberry design. Now they're juts trying to be like everyone else. I know a lot of people that preferred the design of the Blackberry keyboard and design of those phones.

I've read that they are still going to produce phones with physical keyboards...you guys are making a judgement off of a dev unit and leaked specs?

Well if they still majorly produce their traditional design, I think that's what they should stick with. If they want to test the full touch-screen based waters, let them. I don't think it will be successful though.

you have zero faith in any platforms outside of android and ios.

they have to give people choices in terms of which style of phone they prefer if they want to re-emerge as a major player in the mobile phone market. that way people have nothing to complain about
