Romo went up against a tough defense and never really choked. Rivers blew a 24-0 point lead and against the Broncos defense. I give props to Broncos D stepping up though but failing against the Bears D and Broncos D is completely different.

1-4 and only 1.5 games out of first place. Hell yes!

Doesn't matter. With the way Watt is playing positional importance should be thrown out the window. Players on a .500 team don't win MVPs. Watt is the best player in the league right now on a 5-1 team. Add that to the fact that he already has 9.5 sacks as a 3-4 DE in 6 games, it's a no-brainer.

It's not just the 9.5 sacks - they're great, but it's the overall pressures and pass deflections and elite run defense that make him such a monster and worthy of the MVP thus far.

I don't think he'd get it, just because Ryan is a quarterback putting up very good numbers on an undefeated team....but Watt deserves it as much as anyone.

Of course it matters, it's a pro QB award, JJ Watt is not even going to finish top 5 in voting.

Oh, and do you think Rivers is still happy about having Peyton in the division?

Even with all the turnovers his defense created while also scoring 14 points, how many other QBs in the league complete some of those passes and lead TD drives every time they needed one in the second half?

Tim Tebow sure as hell doesn't do it, even if everything else is the same.

Got to give some credit to his receivers that 1 TD to take the lead was a catch

I only used the sack numbers because that's what the voters love to see. The sacks don't do his play justice, you're right. Ryan has been mediocre for the past 2 games, IMO. Watt has been dominant in every game he's played. Even though the Texans got blown out against GB. GB literally TRIPLE TEAMED him. That shows how good this kid is. MVP and it's not even close as far as I'm concerned. JJ Watt isn't getting any help either. Barwin has been invisible, Cody is a scrub, and Antonio hasn't been himself. Reed has been the only one applying some sort of pressure.
