Another pure gem for Felton. 9 for 26, and 0 for 3 from 3 point range.

He actually managed to outchuck Kobe.

I honestly didn't think it was possible, but Raymond proved me wrong.

I feel nervous now in crucial moments when Felton's running the show.

teams are leaving felton open and letting him to shoot, it gets kinda scary to see him just taking 20+ shots

he really needs to work on that jumper

Exactly. 9 for 31 sounds so much sexier than 9 for 26. I mean really. 26 is such an obscure number.

My issue is he takes them too early in the shot clock. But yeah they giving him so much space he has to shoot. Just not so early in the shot clock. Felton brah your not that kind of player. I wont kill him for the in the lane stuff though. You gotta make those but DHoward is scary in the paint.

And knowing the Knicks medical staff I'm certainly worried.

Novak finally hit some threes,J.R. was huge for us,Kidd's defense on Kobe was great for most of the game and Sheed also played solid.

Felton went into hero mode once again,Tyson sucked for most of the game. He did made some huge plays at the end though.

Melo was Melo. Just amazing. 30 points on 10-15 shooting. He would have gone for 40+ if he didn't get injured.

Melo

Probably 50 or 60 lol He had like 21 in the first quarter lol I don't know if that was directed toward the fact that he's a close friend of Kobe's and has said he loves competing against him or that was a giant F U to Mike D'Antoni. We've all seen Melo go off plenty of times but last night seemed personal. He was pissed when Woodson took him out in the 1st quarter. Mind you, this is against World Peace, who's still a very good defender.

As for Felton, I didn't thnk he played that bad. He missed shot but a lot of those shots were quality shots. If D'Antoni is going to be dumb and keep switching all ngiht and have Dwight on you, take advantage. Besides, he pretty much contributed to 70% of Chandler's points.

I don't like how we losed that game. It was obviously partly because Melo got hurt but that's a concern or me. If you lose a 20 point lead because one guy went out, then your bench needs help. Luckily, Mike D'Antoni is an idiot and his teams play no defense because we couldnt stp them at all coming down the stretch.

Rajon Rondo gets tons of space too, but he doesn't bite. Felton needs to stop trying to be a hero. He's shooting like 37% over his last 10 games. That's D-League material. His only saving grace is he doesn't turn the ball over. If he did, forget about it. He would be the worst PG in the league.

Even though I wasn't comfortable with Lakers coming back and Kobe getting hot I actually never thought we were in danger of letting that game slip away.
Call me crazy but I actually like what the Knicks have done in the 4th quarter. Slow the game down, play long possessions, don't turn the ball over and don't let them get easy buckets.
It's tough to make a big run when the pace is so slow. Even when Lakers made a few consecutive buckets J.R. responded with a three and that sealed the game for us.

Felton shot too much but it wasn't a really bad strategy. Did anyone notice how J.R. was on the verge of losing the ball every time he had it in his hands ? He actually lost it once and it led to a 3 point play by World Peace.

That's why I liked that we went to Felton. He doesn't turn the ball over,he creates mismatches (Dwight guarded him) and even if he misses that leaves someone small guarding Tyson Chandler which allows Tyson to tip the ball back for a new possession which happened multiple times over the last few minutes.

It worked last night but only because we were up big. In a close game I like going into screen and rolls but I don't want Felton to shoot it every time. Pass it to Tyson or kick it out to our shooters.

The Celtics biggest complaint is that he doesnt shoot. If you dont shoot you know the defense is collapsing on other players. The object of the game is to get open shots. Making the defense double at some point to get ball movement to have the shots that Felton is taking. Sarcatic you have right to your opinion but you are absolutely going overboard with this worst PG in the league stuff. You want Kidd to start dont you?

Like I said I dont like the shots early in the clock but he is wide open most times. You have to make the defense play you to free up other people.

Clutch great observation. Thats why I wont complain too much about how he's playing. You see he gets to the rim or he has alley oops to Chandler if not Chandler is usually there to clean up Felton's mess.

Franchize thats why the Knicks were never in danger because the Knicks were able to take advantage of those dumb a$$ switches.

Rondo's jumpshot and Felton's jumpshot are on two TOTALLY different wavelengths. Felton is a WAY better shooter than Rondo. I don't even know why Rondo was brought up.

As for the Knicks taking advantage of the switching, the problem is, we don't get to play Mike D'Antoni every night lol

Really? You think so? Because the stats don't back that up at all. At least not this year.

From midrange Rondo is shooting 54%, and Felton is shooting 39%. In the paint Rondo is shooting 43%, and Felton is shooting a mind boggling 28%. In the restricted area Rondo is shooting 61%, and Felton is shooting 46%.

They are both shooting 33% from the corner 3. The only spot Felton is beating Rondo is above the break, where it's 41% to Rondo's 23%.

Rondo stats

Felton stats

Oh on top of all that, Felton has a higher usage rate than Rondo which means he is holding onto the ball WAAAAAAY too much. Basically all my complaints are visible in the stats. He's a blackhole, with little court vision, and a chucker.

Yea but let's use common sense here. We watch the games. Felton is a better shooter than Rondo...and I'm not referring to points in the paint. Those are layups, floaters etc. I'm talking about jumpshots. Rondo is shooting 24% from 3. Felton is just under 40%.

Mid range and in the paint are the 2 highest volumes of shots for both of them, and Rondo is crushing Felton in both categories. Check the stats.
