Ray's been missing shots because he is gassed. Outside of Melo, Felton is the only person who can reliably create something on offense. He can penetrate at will with the pick and roll. His jumpshot has always been iffy. He was overachieving to start the season with his shooting percentages and now that three pointer isn't falling. But that 15 footer he should be hitting at around a 40% clip.

JR is gonna have to pull his head out of his ass and step up if we have any chance of winning this game. I thought he was so dangerous early in the season because he was pushing the tempo by himself and attacking the basket relentlessly in semi-transition. Don't be fooled by his good shooting game against the Lakers. He only took difficult long 2's, and if his game continues to consist solely of those, he will continue to be an erratic scorer.

What this offense really needs is for Felton and JR to attack the basket and get to the free throw line. Bad shooting games are inevitable, but a player that can consistently get to the line is far more reliable than a streak shooter.

There are some teams that play smart basketball... Miami and Spurs come to mind. But watching this game and some of the other Knick games when they play under control they look so brilliant!

Kyrie is something else, he'd look so good next to Shumpert in a Knicks uniform.

But anyway, 10-0, feel so good.

Kidd and Felton made up for their terrible shooting by setting up Tyson with another 9-10 lob fest.

10 rebounds too, per his average this year, and a million tip outs for extra possessions.

NBA leading rebounder with a whopping 8.

Imagine Kyrie joining Melo on this Knicks squad? That would be so unfair...

Missed the Cavs game. I saw the highllights. I told you guys Kyrie was gonna go off lol. Also, the Cleveland Cavs have to hodl the record for most guys with protective masks. My goodness. It was like watching the Jabberwockeez or something lol

Glad we held on and won a game that I figured would be harder than most people expected. Cleveland always seems to give us a scare.

In regards to Felton I have no issue with him besides him shooting too early in the game clock and not being able to control the pace of the game. Too many times when the Knicks get too quick for themselves he allows it for too many possessions.

As good as the team looked on offense the only reason the Cavs got back into the game was the Knicks got lazy on defense. Not stupid mistakes but lack of hustle kinda cruising. Plus Kyrie is unstoppable especially when your guards are not the quickest of feet but he made some tough contested shots.

Offensively the Knicks played at a controllable pace they never got frantic too much. Very good half court offense.

I personally hate watching Kidd run the offense because he just holds the ball until people make cuts to get open. Its fine sometimes but I want my PG to be able to initiate the offense and create the offense. The ball movement looks good when he does this because you have to move it around forever just to get a good shot off.

Thanks. Great news. I wonder how he'll fit in. I guess he'll be coming off the bench for the first few games ?

The defense is ATROCIOUS.. Kidd is getting blown by at will without picks or screens just getting embarrassed. Felton is getting washed regularly and no one is helping!

Next time someone asks why I'm so cautiously optimistic, I'll refer them to this game. We just have too many guys who are liabilities. Sole bright spot has been Copeland. Once he gained his confidence, he started going. He's still too unselfish. He plays like he's just trying to not mess up at times. You cant be an effective player like that. Just play your game.
