Amar'e can't do anything offensively? He needs the ball way more than he's getting it.

Iman's value is as low as it has ever been. Why would you trade him now? You don't sell low. You sell high.

And Felton is our 4th best offensive player, after Melo, Amare, and Earl Smith, in that order. He should never be shooting more than any of them, unless he is on fire. His best game since he came back was the Detroit game when he had 4 points, and 9 assists.

And just to further prove why he should not be shooting - he has the worst points per shot average for all point guards in the NBA.

http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/pl...ds/order/false

He is at 1.01 pps, which is the epitome of a chucker.

They need to get Felton and Amar'e on the court together more, or let Prigioni run the offense more when he's out there. Woody is way too enomored with isos, a lesson he should have learned back in Atlanta.

Other than Melo Felton was the only player to show up against the Clippers.

So how does his value go up when the more he plays the more he gets exposed? All he can do is prove he's healthy. So there are more than one way to think about this. Like I said it better be up for consideration.

So lets see you want the only other player on the floor not named melo and jr to not attempt shots. Brilliant idea so lets take away another weapon on the team thats pretty much weaponless Let the PG be like Jkidd and not shoot and let the defense sag off another player so Melo can play with 4 non shooters....

This is not how basketball works.

No I want Amare on the floor more often with Melo.

Pecking order should be:
1 Melo
2 Amare
3 JR
4 Shumpert of Felton

I have no qualms about that. But a PG is going to have to shoot when open. I dont want Felton shooting early in the clock.

Shump cant shoot or finish so that makes no sense.

Who cares? We lost. Amare was playing well too, but Mr Potato Head only played him for 25 minutes.

The dreams of Amare playing more than 25 are pretty much history.

He's been cleared for 30. Right now he is a $20 million bench warmer. That's a complete waste of resources, and something only the Knicks would do. He still has a lot left in the tank, and Potato Head is wasting it to help Melo get his MVP/scoring title.

Coincidentally he is also burning out Melo having him play 40+ minutes, and chucking to no end. He's already missed 7 games this year, and he'll have nothing left in the tank by April.

You really think he's holding back amare at the expense of a scoring title and a no shot at mvp for Melo?

He's holding him in his spot because Amare cannot play that much anymore.

You guys are setting yourself up for disappointment if you think Amare is going for 30 minutes in March with 18 games in 31 nights and 6 back to backs.

It's not going down.

Playoffs...maybe, and i doubt it even then.

What's making you think this when apparently his doctors disagree? He looks fine to me.

I think it's pretty obvious, and has been for some time, that Woodson doesn't like him.

I think some of you are really taking Amare and Shumpert's injuries for granted. They didn't suffer papercuts. Derrick Rose suffered a similar injury to Shump and he still isn't back. Amare has back AND knee issues.

I didn't mention Shumpert. He definitely seems off.

But then again, I never thought his ceiling was all that high to begin with.
