Isn't Jeremy Lin from Palo Alto? He was born in LA but not sure if he counts as an LA guy.

He's from Lake Oswego, OR (Lake Oswego High). Saw him play in high school. Dude dropped 42 points and 20 rebounds that day...BEAST

Tyson Chandler is not from L.A. or Compton...he's from Fresno area originally (Central Cali) then San Bernadino. When Nike bought him he went to play basketball for Dominguez High in Compton.
