OP is going to get banned for posting pron

I'm incredibly excited for this. It sucks that there are three parts, but honestly, that is just 2 more films to get amped up for.

Only thing that would make it better is if they could buy the rights to this song

Damn I forgot that this was split up into multiple movies.. Im midway through the book as I type... It seems like a difficult task to chop it up into pieces, I dont see how you cant make it to one film.. I guess its all about the dollars..

I believe that's not the case. It's mostly from the appendices from LoTR and the Hobbit.....the Simillarion is a completely different story and I don't see how it would fit, unless they start giving us middle earth history lessons

I could see some of the additional information the Simillarion presented about the wizards and elves being presented in the Hobbit.

tolkien was spinning in his grave the first time around. now he's rotating so quickly that the earth's energy needs should be taken care of for millennia if only a sufficiently massive electromagnet can be erected around him.

my dream is that one day the BBC can get hold of this material and hopefully do it some justice, low budget or not...
