He's played with Favre, Allen, the Williams' boys. Thoughts?

He must have forgot that he played with the future HOF stud Sam Bradford in college.

thats a nice complement but he actually goes so far to say he and Harvin is the Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen of the league. thats where i started to question it. but really got no problem giving himself and his teammate some confidence and swagger if he thinks it will help in future games.

and Harvin is really underrated. Hes like Wes Welker in his prime but black!

Percy Harvin is a top 3 talent in the NFL. A truly elite player who is rare. Talent wise he's > AD himself. Not a surprise AD thinks of him that highly, all Vikings fans know this.

He does everything at an elite level.

Laughable. He's extremely versatile but just stop.

Is that really a question? I could name 20 if you wanted.

AJ Green, Julio Jones, JJ Watt

Dude hasn't even broke a 1000 yards or 7 touchdowns in his career and now he's a top 3 talent in the NFL?

He had 1300+ total yards (967 rec, 345 rush) and 9 TDs (6 rec, 2 rush, 1 kr) last season...

I was talking about receiving. It should be obvious that in order to be a top 3 talent, you need to at least dominate the position you play most of the time.

He's a very versatile weapon. Not a top 3 talent in the entire NFL.

Judging Percy as if he were a traditional wideout is silly. I'm not even arguing for him to be a top 3 talent but at least make a sensible argument if you are going to say he isn't.

What's not sensible about it? He plays WR like 90-95 percent of the time, so he should therefor be judged a great deal on how well he plays that position.

He gets 2-3 carries a game and returns kicks.

His rushing contributions are almost not even worth mentioning. Matt Ryan has almost as many yards as he does this year.

316 of his 407 yds this year is yac. He is utilized much differently than a traditional wideout and 350 yds rushing as a WR is hardly irrelevant. Also, AP said he is a top 3 talent and not that he has had top 3 production in the past. He is now being utilized like a star player and if he keeps the pace he is on now he will have 120/1300 on the year.
