there are different types of corrosive players. Rondo has beef with everyone, Westbrook chucks more than the man with multiple scoring titles in the finals, Brandon Jennings takes about as many shots as the rest of the bucks, and it goes on. The knicks see talent and want to harness it regardless of personality. It has tanked us in the past but will work someday. Latrell Sprewell took us to the finals

Possible. Theres no clear cut 3rd best team and Boston will take it easy during the regular season. Knicks definitely have the talent to do it.

Knicks are fourth seed. Indy, Boston, and Miami are all significantly ahead of New York

The Knicks addressed majority of their issues in the off season. Brewer will add some much needed defense on the perimeter & a guy who can slow down the other teams best player.

Felton is a solid point guard who was having a very good run in Ny during his brief stint. Ithink he'll make the most of the chance he's being given & will be a solid starting point guard.

Kidd brings that vet leadership, a good locker room guy aswell as still having some game left in him, smart player who won't turn the ball over during crucial moments.

Camby adds depth to the center position which was a major problem last year.

They resigned Smith & Novak, 2 knock down shooters who can get hot, and Melo & STAT are gonna get theirs.

Melo looked good in the olympics & looks to be in great shape.

Full off season under a head coached that the team is fully behind.

Look out easter conference.

I think the 76ers are going to do very well this season, they have been playing great without Bynum.

The Knicks second unit will be very competitive.

J kidd, Brewer, Novak, Sheed & Camby.

They have a chance to have the best rotation in the league if Sheed can atleast give them something like 7 & 4 on good shooting.

Sheed sucked for Boston 2 years ago and isn't even playing right now so I wouldn't expect much there.

IMO 1/2 seeds are out of touch. Miami for obvious examples and Celtics have great chemistry along with a deep bench.

Knicks can make a run but there's a lot of IF factors involved. The team is deep, but can they be effective together as a unit this season? And we have signed quite a few old legs so injury may play a big factor in making a run.

I personally see them as the 4th seed.

i know, but i don't feel like Sheed would bother coming back if he was just going to be a worse version of himself from 2 years ago, and i don't feel like the Knicks would sign him if they believed he couldn't contribute as a 7-8th man.

Never underestimate the stupidity of our signings, I think Sheed will definitely be lower on the depth chart than 7-8. I fully expect Camby and Kurt to get many more minutes than Sheed. Copeland is looking great so far in preseason, I can see him getting a lot of burn at the 4 (and 3). As far as I'm concerned Sheed is little more than an insurance policy and 5 extra fouls.

I think it can happen. I thought the Knicks had good chance at upsetting the Bulls (w/ Rose) in this year's playoffs, which is why I was shocked that they didn't tank for the 8th seed. Miami's the only team in the East that's clearly better than the Knicks.
