1. Positions can be fudged slightly to get someone on the starting 5, but only within reason.
2. Players should be added only based on how they performed while on your team (ex: Shaq may be valid for Orlando, LA, & Miami, but not for say Boston)
3. Positions 6-12 should be balanced like a normal roster (should be a reasonable amount of backups for each position, not all guards for 6-12)
4. It is valid to use specialty role players, even if they wouldn't be the "top 12" players ever for that team (I'm going to include Horry for the Spurs for clutch shot purposes, even though he's not one of the 12 best players overall)
PG - NVE '97
SG - Kobe '01
SF - Big Game '88
PF - Kurt Rambis '86
C - Shaq '00
Bench
PG -Magic '87
SG - Jerry West '62
SF - Coop '87
PF - Pau Gasol '08
C - Cap '82
Not designated - Elgin Baylor '61
Not designated - Odom '11
The starting 5 are playing Triangle. Got 3-Peat Shaq and Kobe, along with Kurt Rambis to hustle, Worthy to add more talent to the wing and Nick Van Exel to be a better D-Fish.
The 2nd 5 are playing Showtime, up-tempo ball. Magic and Kareem from the 80s, along with Jerry West's all-round game, Pau's passing from the post and Michael Cooper's D.
Elgin Baylor and Lamar Odom come in whenever to mix it up. Baylor could start in place of Worthy, and Odom could take Pau's place

This team is has absurdly elite rebounding, defense, hustle, passing, post-play, shot-blocking, size, basketball IQ, play-making, unselfishness, and championship legacies.
This team only has weak 3-PT shooting. Despite that, it has great spacing and player/ball movement. Oh and no, my centers are not too short. Russell, McHale, and Parish are there for Wilt, Kareem, and Hakeem.
By the way, note to ISH, Cowens and Havlicek are the two best players you don't know much about.
EDIT: Goddamn my team has ridiculously good rebounding. Just had to edit that in.

Seattle Sonics:
Gary Payton
Ray Allen
Detlef Shrempf
Shawn Kemp
Jack Sikma
Dennis Johnson
Donald Slick Watts
Nate McMillan
Sam Perkins
Vin Baker
Vincent Askew (valuable role player unknown to most non-Sonics fan)
Steve Scheffler. Unknown to most non Sonics fans but he had a cult following in Seattle.
All-time Sonics (if it wasn't for the move, KD would have been starting SF)
PG: Gary Payton/Dennis Johnson
SG: Ray Allen/Dale Ellis/
SF: Detlef Schrempf/Kevin Durant/Xavier McDaniel
PF: Shawn Kemp/Michael Cage/Tom Chambers/
C: Jack Sikma/Spencer Haywood/
Honorable mentions: Nate McMillan (wanted to put Mr. Sonic in, but Sonics need more front court power), Gus Williams (I'm assuming during the 3-pt era, which is why he's out), Lenny Wilkens, Ricky Pierce, Hersey Hawkins, Rashard Lewis, Sam Perkins

Surprised you have Vin Baker, but that might be because I really hate Vin Baker.

I included Vin Baker because I couldn't think of any other bigs that were remotely useful. Having Vin beats have Potapenko, McIllvaine, Jerome James, Sene, Swift, etc...
Vin was okay his 1st and 2nd seasons then he discovered the alcohol.

That's true. Sonics had so many trash bigs after the 90's Sonics team got broken up. Baker with alcohol is still better option.
